Christmas Hats

Mom knit us all matching Christmas hats! I love having the same hat as my little sister.  We all wore them to the tree lighting the other night which was quite fun.

Thanksgiving

I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving! Sawyer and I wore our turkey shirts we made last year and Dorothy wore the Happy Thanksgiving onesie we all have worn on our first Thanksgiving. It was a fun day!

Reunited!

I am very happy to be back home with my baby sister.  I had a lot of fun in Anchorage but I missed Dorothy.

Carnival

We went to a Halloween carnival this weekend that was a lot of fun! I didn't want to dress up, but did wear my Halloween dress and got my face painted as a butterfly.

Watching swimming

The other day we walked to see Sawyer at his swim class during school.  It sure was fun to see how great he is doing at the pool!

Hanging out

I really enjoy hanging out with Dorothy.  I even get her to smile at me sometimes...

Science

I got this awesome science kit for my birthday and have spent many hours doing experiments.  Mom said I was a mad scientist but I informed her that I am a happy girl scientist!

Birthday!

It was my birthday this week and now I am FOUR!! I had a great day and got some wonderful presents.  I even helped make my birthday cake with mom.

Fishing failure

It was a good day to go fishing, but we didn't catch any fish this weekend.

Weaving

Now that Sawyer is in school, it is just us girls all day.  Mom took me to the yarn store last week and I picked up my own weaving loom...I have been having fun!

State Fair Fun

I just love going to the fair! It was a little rainy, but we still had a blast. I got my face painted, rode rides, played games, and petted the animals!

Reunited!

Mom and Dorothy joined us in Anchorage! I was so excited to see my little sister again!

Grandpa visit

I got to go to Anchorage to visit my grandparents while Mom and Dad hang out with baby Dorothy. I had a wonderful time!

New Sister!

My mom had the baby! And I have a new baby sister named Dorothy. I love her so much!

Summer Reading

This week at summer reading we read a book about a baby with a mustache.  It was a really funny book and we all wore stick on mustaches while we read! So fun!

Salmon run

This year during Salmon Jam, I ran the one mile fun run.  Last year when I ran, Dad carried me on his shoulders for about half of it, but this year I was able to run the whole thing myself! I did great and finished in about 14 mins!

Big trip!

We got to go on a big adventure to Anchorage! We took the ferry (which is a *long* boat ride now...) and got to stay with our grandparents for 11 days. It was a lot of fun.  The weather was very warm, so we spent a lot of time outside playing in the water. I had a great time, but was excited to see Mom when I got home! (This is a picture from our last t-ball game...I miss playing t-ball and can't wait until next year. I was #1 and Sawyer was #5)

Little hiker

I was quite the little trooper earlier this week when we made the trek up ski hill.  At first I didn't think I could do it, but we stopped a lot for snacks, and there were plenty of berries along the way to keep me motivated! I was pretty excited to make it to the top and took a long nap that afternoon.

T-ball

I am having a blast playing t-ball.  The helmets they have are a bit big for me, so sometimes when I bat, they fly off my head....but I still run to first base!

New dress!

My mom finished knitting me a dress this week and I love it.  I hope to wear it a lot!

Special lunch

This week was Sawyer's last day of preschool.  He got to have a special picnic lunch at school so my mom took us out for a special lunch as well.  While waiting, I got to play with dinosaur toys and I decided they needed a salad for lunch....

Bike riding

I have started practicing on my big girl bike! It is so fun and I love to go for bike rides.

Sewing

I have been working on a needlework project.  It is nice to pull it out and work on it when my mom is knitting.  Soon I will have a cat picture!

4 wheeling

I love to go 4-wheeling.  And on Mother's Day we spent the day outside 4-wheeling, playing in the sand, and sitting by the fire.  It was a lot of fun.

City Trip

I just got back from a very exciting trip to Anchorage! I had so much fun! I got to see all of my grandparents and go bike riding.  It was a lot of fun.  I can not wait to go back.

Library fun night!

I always look forward to library fun night! We had a great time.  There was bowling and croquet and we got our faces painted! So fun!

Splish Splash!

It has been a wet month so far! It has made for a lot of rainy walks around town...but I still have fun!

Easter fun

I had a great Easter! I did some beading at an Easter craft event and won a prize basket at the egg hunt! I did seem to be a bit confused on what holiday it actually was on Sunday...I chose my own outfit...

Unicorn Day!

It was spirit week at Sawyer's school and of course I wanted to dress up for Unicorn Day!

Sunshine!

Last week we had some gorgeous weather and we spent a lot of time outside. We took the 4-wheeler out, went to the sandpit, and lots of dog hikes. It is always fun to be outside in the nice weather.

Bun-Bun

This weekend I worked really hard and made a bunny bag for myself that I call Bun-Bun. I really enjoy sewing!

Scootering!

It has been nice and sunny outside so we have been taking advantage of the weather. 

Worn out

The other day I had a playdate with a friend while Sawyer was at school.  By the time I met back up with Mom I was quite worn out and had fallen asleep in the stroller.

Lucy style

The other day on the walk to the pool I was wearing a few of my favorite hand knits! They kept me nice and warm. 

Dressing up

I love dressing up! Grandpa had these fun glasses for Sawyer and I to wear...I looked like a monster!

Museum

I had a great time in Anchorage visiting with all of my grandparents.  I also got to go to the museum, which is one of my favorite places! I kept busy making a movie with these animals.

Climbing

We haven't had snow in forever, but the other day after dropping Sawyer off at school I found a snow pile to climb. Sure, it was dirty and I was wearing some of my nicer hand knits, but you have to climb!

Outside!

This weekend we went on a bit of a crazy hike. The trail was pretty muddy (I almost lost a boot!) but I loved every second of it. I was a real trooper and enjoyed being outside.

Happy New Year!
