Dad Weekend

Mom and Dorothy went to Anchorage for Thanksgiving weekend, so it was just Sawyer, Dad, and me.  It was a lot of fun! We were able to work on projects, play games, and go skiing!

Christmas tree

Mom decided we wouldn't have a real tree this year because Dorothy would either climb it or pull all the ornaments off.  So she knitted us this giant stuffed one instead! It is fun to play with it and carry it around all day.

Halloween!

We had a great Halloween! The weather was beautiful and we got to hit up all our normal trick or treat spots.  It is always fun to ride on the firetruck! I picked out my costume (a witch) and really wanted a green face. I loved it!

New scarf

My mom knitted me this cowl/scarf that I love! It keeps me warm even when it is quite chilly outside.

Walking to School

Sawyer and I have been enjoying the fall weather and walking to school.  It is always more pleasant to walk when it isn't pouring rain...but sometimes splashing in the puddles is fun too!

Tye Dye!

Here we all are wearing the things we dyed at my party! Dad dyed Dorothy's dress, as I was busy eating cupcakes...

Birthday party!

I got to celebrate my birthday with some friends this weekend and it was a lot of fun! We tye-dyed shirts outside, and it was nice and sunny! I also got to eat cupcakes that I decorated. Now I am FIVE!

School!!

Today was the first day of school! I am very excited to start kindergarten but worried Dorothy will miss me all day.  I made sure to give her lots of hugs before I left.

Salmon Jam

This past weekend was Salmon Jam, which is always fun.  This year I ran the one-mile fun run all by myself and did great! Then we got to go get our faces painted and learn what to do in case of a tsunami.  It is always good to be prepared.

Summer visit

I got to spend two and a half weeks visiting my grandparents! It was a ton of fun, and I even got to go visit our property in Talkeetna.  I can not wait until we can live there!

Rock Hunt

People in town have been painting and hiding rocks to make people smile.  It has been a lot of fun to hide ours and then go back and see if they are still there.  I found this one, but didn't want to move it since it was so big.

Tball!

Tball is in full swing here! It is so fun playing baseball with Sawyer.  And Dorothy loves to cheer us on.  Go Pilots!

Salon

I love painting my own nails! Have to get ready for the summer with a new manicure!

Visit

Grandma, Aunt Allie, Uncle David, and Brooke came to visit us this last weekend.  I really enjoyed visiting with everyone and playing with Brooke!

Chalk art

It has been gorgeous outside, so I have been able to use my chalk outside on the sidewalk.  I really enjoy making art!

Hair!

Every now and then I let Mom do my hair, which is fun!

Hiking

I love exploring the woods.  It was fun to go hiking as a family and the trees protected us from the rain.

More adventures

This weekend I went 4-wheeling with Dad.  It was a gorgeous day out and I had a great time.

Vet Lucy

I really enjoy playing Vet and taking care of all of my stuffed animals.

Wonder Woman!

While in Anchorage for Spring Break, Grandma Maverick got Dorothy and I matching Wonder Woman dresses! I love matching with Dorothy.

New Sweater

Mom knit me an awesome rainbow sweater dress! I was very excited to wear it to school.  It matches perfectly with the necklace I made at Pokemon club!

Snow!!

We have been getting a lot of snow lately and I love it.  I always climb every mountain on the walk to and from school.

Games

Mom and I get to play a lot of games while Sawyer is at school. This one is sometimes a bit of a challenge since I can't read or spell on my own...

4-Wheeling

Who says you can't go 4-wheeling in the winter?! It sure is fun to get pulled behind in the sled.  We also each got some time riding on the 4-wheeler with Dad. I always want to go FAST!

Outdoor Explorer

I love going out hiking with Dad.  I always find new and exciting things to explore.

Iceworm

I love the Iceworm Festival! We bake cakes, get to see a parade, and even go to the Iceworm Birthday party! Always a lot of fun.
